USA Hockey requires all affiliates to have a Concussion Mangement Program.
The Land Of Enchantment Amateur Hockey Association (LOEAHA) is the USA Hockey Affiliate for the state of New Mexico.
LOEAHA will utilize the resources of USA Hockey (USAH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for it's Concussion Program.

The state of New Mexico has a Concussion Management Law which was signed on June 1, 2010. The law contains language primarily targeting school athletics programs but very easily could be referenced to all youth sports. USA Hockey Registered Coaches and Referees are receiving training on concussion recognition and management as a requirement for certification.
